Gray Goose
'Gray Goose' (Jockey Club registered 'Valentino First' kick-started Jane's eventing dreams. He and Jane entered their first horse trial together in 2014 and struggled their way from Starter to Preliminary - making mistakes and earning triumphs every step of the journey.
Jane and Shuler bought Goose for $400 just two months after they were married while living in Lookout Mountain, GA. Goose moved with Jane and Shuler to Greenville SC, then Tulsa, OK - competing in recognized horse trials in Areas III, IV, and V.
Goose passed away 2021; his body rests in a beautiful farm owned by friends in Sand Springs, OK.
He was a horse of a lifetime and is missed every day.
